About me

Hi, I’m Rena.

I work with women struggling with anxiety, OCD, and perfectionism. I also provide addiction counseling, drawing on my experience in substance use treatment.

Let’s talk

My background

Education
and experience

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Lander College of Arts and Sciences and my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Touro University, with a concentration in addiction studies.

My experience includes individual counseling in private practice and group counseling in intensive outpatient programs and other higher levels of care.

How I work

My approach

Sometimes you know why you’re struggling, but knowing hasn’t changed how you feel or what you do.

We’ll talk it through, connect the dots, and get practical about what you can try differently—with support and an honest perspective along the way.

My style is warm and direct, and I draw on my training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to help you put that work into practice.

Depending on your needs, our work may include:

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Skills for managing emotions, navigating stressful situations, and communicating what you need.

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)

A gold-standard treatment for OCD. We’ll work on gradually facing situations that bring up anxiety while changing the compulsive responses that keep the cycle going.

Finding the right therapist matters.

Let’s start with a
conversation.
